Below are pictures of patients from the Hiawatha Asylum. The pictures originally here were taken from a newspaper
article regarding the asylum found during Dr. Leahy's research, they are some of the few photographs in existence of
the victims of the Hiawatha Asylum. After some research I found the original Doon Press article from 1970 that
showcased the pictures on loan from a former employee, Gertie Hale, who can be seen in one of the pictures below with
a patient. I rescanned the pictures and cleaned the resolution as much as possible to produce clearer visages for those
who might recognize the patients.
